UAC USA was formed in 2021 to service forwarders with a neutral/wholesale air consolidation service from the USA to worldwide destinations, but with a speciality in the ANZ market. UAC now takes an important step with the purchase of our own facility in Sydney. Our service in all countries remains totally neutral, we only service forwarders not importers/exporters direct. Since the US-AU market is majority consignee sold, it made good sense to expand our presence in Sydney, which is the largest airfreight market in Australia.

·  In addition, the handling of Bonded Import freight through customers own (direct) import shipments

·  Approved facility (DAFF) for shipments requiring Quarantine-related handling

·  RACA accreditation for pre-screening of export cargo, prior to lodgement at the Airline terminals

·  IATA accreditation to offer competitive export bookings direct with airlines

It is important for UAC to offer export air services into the Sydney market, as we see there is a genuine gap in neutral service providers, where we hope to assist our loyal customers while welcoming additional support. In Sydney UAC will be led by Michael Bennett, who recently joined us and Michael is also a shareholder.

It is also important to note that staff already employed in the Sydney facility have extensive experience in the Wholesale market and are well-aware of expectations from Forwarders in both Import and Export transactions. The staff in Sydney are also supported by additional key staff interstate to further support our National network.
